Make no mistake, this is a very capable Pilot's Chronograph!! Its credentials include a Soft Iron Core between the Movement and the Caseback (like a Rolex Milgauss and Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch) which gives it an extremely high resistance to Magetic Fields. This Watch is also fitted with a convex Sapphire Crystal which allows it to be unbothered by levels of decrompression (as found on aeroplanes), which would cause other watches damages to the crystal.
This very popular IWC Chronograph is in excellent condition with its original leatherette box and all papers and books.
